Polo Ralph Lauren chose the inaugural New York Fashion Week: Men’s to unveil its menswear collection for Spring/Summer 2016. A hometown affair for Bronx native Ralph, the smart collection of haberdashery, luxury sportswear and everything in between was revealed to a captive audience at the brand’s Madison Avenue showroom. Showcasing a broad spectrum of styles and motifs including the incorporation of camouflage, herringbone and Black Watch tartan, the theme-less and varied collection seemed as always a reflection of the brand founder’s distinctive and eccentric personal style. Highlights included a three-piece denim suit, stripped-back heritage-inspired sweats and the ultra modern technical sportswear of the brand’s RLX line.
